Not familiar with "minifig" but the general process for enabling a DVR or NVR for remote access via WAN is the same:

1. Create a Port Forwarding Rule for the corresponding DVR/NVR ports in the Router. Alternatively you can set the LAN IP 192.168.1.12 as the DMZ.

2. Create a connection in the client with the Port(s) (same as identified in Step #1), Credentials, and most importantly the Modem IP address.

Note: While we are talking about Modem IP's, if you have a Dynamic IP address from your ISP, consider using DDNS if your head end supports it. Usually the manufacturer will offer and host this for free. It will save you headaches in the future. Good luck and let me know if you have any further questions.
