I completely understand where you're coming from, but myself and I'm sure a lot of other people too would be completely devastated if they revamped the classic Porsche design like Honda revamped the S2000 or Toyota revamped the Corolla.

While I agree when you see a Porsche, you immediately know it's a Porsche, differentiating between models is another challenge unless you know your Porsches.
But there are always worse brands in this regard, such as Aston Martin. I would be totally lost if I can't spot the badge in the back.
