Seriously, if something is wrong, don't be satisfied with the doctor shrugging it off. That was an additional 2 months of pain, suffering, and damage done because the doctor decided it wasn't a big deal when it actually was. It may just be constipation or some other relatively minor thing, but it could also be something more serious.

Out of curiosity, did you have any side effects? Crohn's disease tends to have typical cramps but often canker sores?
I was tested for Crohn's as canker sores (a lot and constant flare up; not one or two but 5-6 a day for many months). I did a gastro and colonoscopy and was ruled out for Crohn's. Anyhoo, good luck to you. I agree, keep seeing new doctors and see how it goes.
