Even if your building is concrete, don't count on the concrete preventing noise transfer. If your building has 9 feet high ceilings in the suites, chances are that the concrete between floors has to be thinner to accommodate the overall limit on the building's height. You may hear everything from toilets flushing to moving objects. The walls will not shake though, as is the case with wood-frame buildings.
This is my experience living in a concrete building that was built about 10 years ago.
