- Installed Blackvue camera system front and rear, all wiring hidden. Don't really 'need' one in Squamish, but my theory is if I'm ever in an accident no one is going to believe the guy in the race-beetle was driving responsibly...so I'll need it.
- Completed a bumper to bumper check, and started on the list...
- Inspected, cleaned and Rebuilt (where necessary) the Eberspacher Gas Heater. These have an unfairly earned reputation for being dangerous, they aren't...but do need to be maintained like any other gas-burning device.
- After four years of adding this and that to the car, I finally stripped it down and cleaned up all the electrical.
- Continued work on the Hydraulic clutch conversion
- Pulled apart the defrost blower motor, confirmed my problem (worn bushing) is not serviceable. Repaired it as best as possible....will look for a new one.
- Tore apart RR suspension, broken Kafer bar (brace) found, and repairs started.
- Removed transmission mounts, swore at the designer for 3 days, finally remembered why I designed them that way and in 40min had new mounts fabricated and back in the car.
- Installed new rally intercom, upgraded to an FM-120.
- New Peltor military intercom headsets arrived, rewired the plugs and now my car has noise-cancelling headsets. Should be even nicer than my standard units.
- Repaired worn seat bolsters
- Discovered the co-driver at my last rally bent the co-driver footrest into a potato-chip. Guess he really was worried about that one section of road through the trees!

The MK1 Escort Rally

- Welcome to the world of nothing fits the first time...
- Sorted the issues with the front brake kit. Will need to mill the brake caliper mounts down and re-drill new holes in the spindles for cotter pins.
- Dropped the car on it's wheels for the first time in 6 months, started mocking up the engine and transmission install.
- Trans temporary mount in place, RS engine mount fabricated and tacked in.
- Cut up a bunch of car to fit the exhaust.
- Sorted out driver position, started on the steering column mounts.

I'll have to add photos later...
