Can anyone recommend anything that allows a stronger hold than any Gatsby moving rubber once dry? I've been using the pink (when hair is short) and green (when hair is long right now) to volumize and do the messy style, then lock it in place with hairspray, but I'd like to forgo the hairspray altogether if possible. I've actually never tried any clays before aside from the ones they use at the hair salons after you get a haircut and they ask if you want wax/clay 
In case anyone was wondering, it's for the longer Asian messy style, not the shorter styles like a combover that I usually rock only in late summer early fall
