If I want my hair to be stiff, I use Alberto Fibre Wax. I got them before at Superstore. Very strong
I'm also using some really cheap Gatsby wax (bought it in Japan for $4 Canadian) for my day to day. If I need it to be stiffer, I spray a small amount of hair spray.

+1 I just buy whatever wax is on sale at superstore. Works the same. My hair is really short. Maybe my hair is easy to style?
