I get it, they like food, so do I, but please for the love of god don't talk about the food on the date or after saying how they've tasted better...I'll just end up looking at them, smile and laugh and say so have I...and then walk away from them. If the girl is willing to(and possibly even suggests) crush back a big mac and large fries prior to seeing a movie or something, then shit will work out just fine hahaha

Now that it's supposed to be a bit wet out, ice cream may not be the best idea lol. I don't venture into south Vancouver often...anything relaxing to do?
Why not just go for dessert? Go for cheesecake etc?

Coming from a female perspective who has online dated - honestly, something that is super underrated but is super attractive thing (for females that aren't high maintenance or gold diggers), is effort. A planned effort from the guy.

It's not to say all the time, but... something regularly memorable (or note-worthy) for me was when BF messages and says "So I'm picking you up at this time, and then we're going to go do this and that, so that we get a chance to sit down and talk and enjoy each other's company. How's that sound?"

Well bomb-diggity. That sounds rad. Thanks for thinking of me, and thinking about what you wanna do with me, it gives me something to look forward to.
