At Mission, you'd definitely want to make sure your entire braking system is up to speed because Mission is very brake intensive. In addition to tires, pads, and rotors, you'd also want to make sure you have done a fresh brake flush some time before your track day. If you're aiming at the Aug 29 event, I'd plan the brake flush to take place some time in late July.

Continental DW is a fantastic tire. It may not be ideal for track use, but it is definitely serviceable. If you are currently tire shopping, however, I'd ask you to look into the Michelin Pilot Super Sport, the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position, and the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 as well. These tires are all approximately in the same performance category, with the Michelin PSS likely being the most capable (but probably also the most $$$). The Conti DW has a bit of a softer sidewall, so your steering feedback and turn-in would be a bit worse. But the softer sidewall also makes it supremely comfortable for regular street use.
