i think it's more about reliving the honda/acura days of the past.
i knew cyrus back in the 90's when he worked for revolution, when we both owned integras. i had a dc4 2dr and his was a db7 4dr, and a really nice one too... before some bastard stole it. can't remember if it was ever recovered 
as for ray's dc2r, he told me he just wanted to build the type-r he couldn't afford to do back in the day. but now cyrus needs the space and ray being ray probably has another project in the works (i'm guessing yet another vintage benz).
