Not aiming at Keifun, but this is a pattern I notice with urbanspoon comments and those wannabe food bloggers that always uses that argument to justify one's admiration for a Japanese restaurant. Like fuck, Indian restaurants are owned by Indians, Koreans restaurants are owned by Koreans, does that mean their food is the best or an representation of what that country has to offer?

But how often if ever do you see a non chinese person owning a chinese joint, or a non indian owning an indian joint? Those fancy yaletown ish made for white peep joints don't count. Now think about how many chinese, korean, or viet owned japanese places there are. That's why that argument is made.
