Get aluminum bushings, there's a reason why subframes kept tearing from E36 to E46. E90 stopped tearing, why? Aluminum subframe bushing.
If it's a hack job reinforcement cutting corners, it's cheap. If you do it properly, it really adds up.
Also to mention, if it's a pre 2003.5 you'll need front strut top reinforcement plate and strut bar, rear strut top reinforcement plate. The strut tops tear too.
