So I was in a pinch for a camera a few weeks ago, bought the Canon Sx530HS. Thinking about returning and doing more research. Not looking for a dslr, I really do like the point and shoot long zoom.
Things I loved:
50x optical
1080p video
decent price $299
small size
Good image quality
Things I would like:
viewfinder
flip screen (like the sx50hs that cleared out for $200)
newer than digic4+ (just seems like its super old)
more megapixels (because more is better, right?
)
faster focus and better image quality at full zoom
Any chance you guys have suggestions for what to replace that camera with?
I'm open to other brands but am not familiar with them.
