I wanted to cry yesterday; rode 116 km from Richmond to Cypress. It was my first time up Cypress and hitting 100+ (6:40 hr ride). Wanted to give up 10 times and go home. Very bless I didn't stop and rest at all or else I would've given up. Richmond, UBC, Stanley park then Cypress was a bad idea, I'm going to just train parking my car at bottom of Cypress next time instead
It was hot going up, had to take off my bib, and coming down was cold as fuck, hit 68km/h coming down, pretty fun going down I must say.
I have to eat better before doing these rides, proper meals in the morning and the night before. Having 4 granola bars just doesn't cut it during the ride.
