I know first hand, they've emailed me through craigslist before as well, saying they'll give me $100 for a BMX that I had listed. I went into the store, noticed a 29'er that had a broken frame, yet they still wanted $150 for it. So I asked them, ok, I'll trade you my bmx and give you $50 for the 29'er (since I needed some parts from it). They still said no, and only offered me $50 for my bmx. Good old bait & switch. And then I see my old BMX a couple of weeks later listed for $200! I had it on CL for $100. As for new and used, there are no new bikes. There might be a couple of new parts or accessories kicking around, but that's pretty slim pickings too.
