Granted I'm on the smaller side, but I never understood players with a wheel bag. I understand goalies (also being one) because everything is so heavy. But as mickz said carry backs are way more portable, packable, and lighter (no wheel hardware).
I probably shouldn't, but I also carry my goalie equipment. That'll change in 10 years when I'm older and need to wheel it all around, but in the meantime I don't need to put down all of the seats in my hatch to get my goalie bag in.
