I think it's the fact that he used steroid use as part of his promotion, saying he was going to prove it takes more than steroids to be successful.
He knew [or assumed] Brock was using steroids, and took the fight anyway. Once you do that, acknowledging it and using it to promote yourself, you have no right to complain about it when you lose.
