I usually leave the house at 7am and pick up / meet with people around 730-800. Don't start hiking until 9am (or later if the the hike is farther out).
I haven't done elk yet...how was it?

I don't see Petgill lake on your list, I enjoyed that hike a lot (and the lake is big enough to swim in, bonus!).
