Your referring to him Marking a line on the bolts, and coming back to check and re torque after he shakes down the car?
I can only imagine that he's only doing this on vital components like suspension, driveline, and such. He can't possibly be going back to bolts inside the door panels, and such. Then again with the attention to detail on his car, maybe he is. I'm totally with you, that car is insane.
Spoiler!
I love that we have gotten to a point where people are now doing restomods on cars that our generation grew up with. Gives a lot of perspective to what the guys who grew up around 60's and 70's muscle went through in the late eighties and nineties, when they first started restoring muscle cars.
I mean rotisserie restorations on old muscle and retro cars is nothing new today. But it's not often you see Honda's, Nissan's, and toyota's of our tuner generation receiving this type of treatment. And the older these cars get, the more we get to see these kinds of sick builds.
It's actually going to drive in a whole new breed of shop, the older guys from my generation wanting to re-live their youth in S2k's, Integra's, Supra's, S15's etc. Looking for shops and people who are well versed enough in these cars to find parts, fabricate components, and bring new life to these cars. It'd be an interesting market to see who capitalizes on it.
