Worth it. Data is transferable next time you buy a bike as long as you don't change much.
I find all the planet bike stuff is pretty ok. I have a lot of bad experience with bike lights and shit off amazon cheap shit $3 bike lights. Never again. I used to think that external standard batteries are great, but then those ones that use AAAs are usually bulky compared to some lower profile Lithium powered bike lights that charge by USB. I'm making the switch
