Two side of the story, Apple removed floppy, and then also CD rom and now USB ports? give it a yr and we no longer care.
I DO however had to agree with my IT guy. USB-C port; what if you're transferring stuff and it's low on battery?

I charge and listening to music all the time. I never leave home without a battery bank. I don't drive.
