Vienna
Going to Vienna for 8 nights and want some input from anyone who has been there. GF and I will obviously be doing all the touristy stuff such as churches, museums, palaces, gardens, etc.
But are there any hidden gems that wouldn't show up in most guidebooks? We will be staying in the Neubau district, which is west of the inner core. One of the things I have come across are "Heuriger" or wine taverns which are primarily clustered on the north side of the city, that are primarily craft wineries that also do farm-to-table food. Also going to do a day-trip to Bratislava.
We are pretty big foodies, so any good restaurant/bar/cafe recommendations would also be appreciated!
