Played with a Chiappa Alaskan scout takedown in 44 mag and now want one badly.
Any of you guys know of a good takedown lever action rifles in 44 mag?? Would it be worth it to get it in 357 mag because of ammo costs (roughly 40% cheaper)? Would primarily use this for backcountry hiking (bears), and plinking.
