log in and on the left side there's an option to update info. on there you can update your identification info which would be passport (assuming that's what you used). I recently had to update them all for the family and did it all online very easily. Only 1 of us for some reason had issuing org and said something weird i couldn't change but i didn't are the passport # was updated which i believe is what they're most anal about.

iirc it's simple...or maybe i thought the whole thing was simple
. I just clicked on the renew link when i was notified of expiring soon and just went through the steps to confirm my info which is essentially all the same (assuming you keep your stuff up to date like you're supposed to).
