Did more research and found out that the screen that Microsoft is using in the Studio is equivalent to a 27" Wacom Cintiq. The price of that?
$2800 USD or $4000 CAD ~

When you put that into perspective, the device itself is priced fairly competitively. For a few hundred bucks more than the tablet itself, you now also get a computer to go with it.
This is definitely not a computer for casual plebs.
