one company, cant remember which one it was, told me a standard truck would take, lets say 40 tons and that would be X amount of money to truck to alberta
he then said, if you want we can take up to 65 tones, same price, however, if we get pulled over and are inspected and found to be over weight for our contents, you guys have to pay the fines.

They probably spec'd their trucks for legal Alberta weights but not legal in BC and hoping they won't get pulled over in BC
