All that talk about Americans moving here is just that - talk.
It's cold. We have higher taxes. We pay more for food and gas. We have less selection in consumer goods. The average American is probably harder working than the average Canadian, but hard work is not really rewarded here as evidenced by our historically lower productivity. There's no reason for any gainfully employed American to move to Canada unless they're moving for love/marriage.
