I did the kitchen myself...everything ikea except for the appliance and countertop.
The cabinet ends up costing around $5000.
I rip out the builder original kitchen set(including sink & cheap granite countertop) and sold it on kijiji for $3000 tho

I finished around 90% of the kitchen so it is "functional" like 9 months ago...been too lazy to finish to remaining trims and backsplash since.
