i made it in to work today, but when i left north burnaby at 6am it was starting to stick. sloppy burnaby plowing meant all the turn lanes are not plowed and i had to watch a minivan do the pinball thing against the curb to turn because it's all pack ice.
but i'm now here in slurrey with only one other staffer because no one else showed up. i am covering for someone on holiday and i do not have any more holiday leave to cover this year so skipping work is not an option for me  . we are both worried that it's going to pick up and we'll be sleeping in the staff lounge tonight...
[EDIT] someone else just came in. he said abbotsford is baaad... the valley must be getting hit hard right now
