i have a light mounted on a carbine on the forward rail which i can access with my thumb no problem. i think it'll be fine with the light on a fixed position on a tube clamp up front. just the way im used to manipulating long guns. i feel like it'll be weird if the flashlight is mounted to the foreend itself although i've seen lots of kits which do have the flashlight mounted on the fore end.

i feel as though if i have the flashlight mounted on the foreend there will be too much movement of the light while working the action where as if i have it on a fixed position on the tube clamp it'll stay on target while i work the action.


i'll try it out and report my findings.
