quick question on rental increases maximum
does it apply to ALL rental even one without valid contract?
long story short: my contract was up last summer...last few months was month-to-month...landlord is trying to spin it that the maximum rate hike only applies if I'm still under the contract.
note: on the original contract i chose month-to-month option after agreement date ended which states tenancy will stay on the same terms. But the rate increase document doesn't specify the type of tenancy it covers.
