Each dealer was allocated one per year. We just got our 2017 RS which is getting picked up as a type this. We still have 3 in our order bank for 2017 and have our fingers crossed that we will get a second one this year. Rumour has is that the RS will now be available in 2018 and the availability will go from 1 per dealer to hopefully 3-5 depending on location and how many pre-orders they have. Essentially building what is ordered.
Just to light the fire a bit. Looks like the RS500 will be making a return in 2018 with the same 2.3L engine but tuned to just under 400hp. Along with the HP bump it will be a lighter car all around. Lets just hope it will come to North America.
