I'm really curious about the tablet abilities of the Switch. Is it going to have a decent web browser? There's been raves about the parental controls. It could be a good alternative to an ipad mini or small android tab.
For history, the 3DS started off at $249 USD when it debuted in March 2011. Sales were lukewarm. The MSRP was slashed 4 months later to $169 USD, and that's when things started to take off. We could see something like this happening for the switch. I know that's when I'll be ready buy
. I'll probably end up spending a crapload of money buying future iterations and limited editions, like I did with the 3DS. :P
