However, your best bet would be getting a luggage that doesn't use zipper (they can be opened in 3sec flat... I shit you not) or at least one that locks the zipper opener in one place.

Yea I only leave clothes, and maybe a bottle of wine in the check luggage. Anything expensive is with me at all times. There were news like last year where someone left like 20k on cash in their check luggage and it went missing after.
