Did you manage to get it fixed? I had 4 of my claims declined by mitsubishi, they only fixed one which was my bumper decided to come off at 3k kms. They were the worst when it came to warranty and it doesnt help that the Evo has only half the warranty of all the other Mitsubishi.
They sell it as a performance car but when they pull the data off your car they decline you if you use your Evo as it was intended, I kept my evo fully stock then with just a Borla catback exhaust.
