North Shore, despite it's taming down over the last 10-15 years is still aggressive technical riding. If you've never done any real mountain biking it will all be challenging unless you stick to Fromme, which is a boring climb up on the main road, and then take the first couple trails down (Bobsled or Floppy Bunny). Other then that, ride ride ride. Ride them all. There isn't a best, they are all good and different in their own way.

Thanks for the reply. I found this website yesterday,
