Cookware Thread

So have my wedding coming up and i am being forced to setup a registry as people cant understand the concept of having everything you need/not wanting others to buy the shit you really want lol..

Basically only going to be registering at the bay and mainly for higher end cookware and glassware.

With that said, is All-Clad all it's cracked up to be? in our general cooking we use very little outside of large sauce pans, was looking specifically at the saute pans and sauce pans:

Copper Core 4qt Saute Pan with Lid | Hudson's Bay

3 quart Stainless Steel Saute Pan with Lid | Hudson's Bay

and somthing like the big fry pans:

14 Inch 35.5cm Stainless Steel Fry Pan | Hudson's Bay

We've got a brand new Kitchenaid gas range, i've used a few Wolf's in the past etc. and the burners on this kitchenaid seem excellent in comparison (as far as the untrained eye can tell) So i've got the heat sources

Are these pans the type of thing you sometimes read online where people hate them because they just burn everything etc. or are those people just dummies and as long as you kinda know what you're doing, the better pans like this will only add to your experience?

I realize there are far cheaper options and some may think it's ignorant to register for a $400 frying pan or a $650 decanter, but if you're not buying me that level of shit, you're buying me a lesser product of which i already own lol..
