My sister's grade 9 English class was made to watch it (1996-97). The teacher was always touchy-feely (hands on shoulders stuff), insisted kids play with his pet snakes (another way to make physical contact with students) and always on the edge of inappropriate. A year or two later students finally accused him of sexual harrassment. I can't recall what happened with that.
Great film, but it always reminds me of that teacher.

Rosario Dawson was in that too. I remeber seeing Telly on some British documentary as an adult, trying to get back into acting. One of the cast ended up being the DJ on the Ellen Show for a few years.
