It 'could' work. Obvious to some, but also be sure to double check your bolt-centre dia. & your spider (4 bolt or 5 bolt). Assuming you're reusing the chainring bolts, you should be ok. But for others who are converting, then you'd need some proper chainring spacers & possibly bolts.
