TV is something that I'd highly recommend to buy the best you can get whenever buying one. Because it's something that lasts a long time (think 10yr+) and by the time you are looking to replace them, they are worthless even though it works fine.
So, check your budget, go to Best Buy/Costco and see what's the top end of that budget and go from there.
IMHO though, get an OLED one. Most of the problem inherited with the technology (burn-in, pixel degradation) has improved greatly in the latest models and shouldn't be an issue unless you run it 24/7. And OLED is pretty much untouchable as far as image quality goes.
In-law recently got a new place and bought the Sony OLED... that thing is GODLY gorgeous.
