I think it has to be thin wall. Anything to make it hard for DIY'rs, right?

BMW also uses 14 mm sparks that require thin wall.

On one of my vehicles, they use a special spark plug, called none, lol. Fully electric. No oil changes, either. What am I going to work on? My other vehicles are gas powered, so not completely out of the woods. Hurry up, Tesla, with your model 3.
