XLB's around town are all getting pretty good, hard to pick the "best" now. Lin's is solid, Ramen House on W. 4th makes a good one. Even Dinesty and Peaceful are pretty good. The Crab XLB at Top Shanghai in Richmond is delicious too.
My favourite of all time was this hole in the wall called "The Place" on Granville, big and juicy XLB's but I think the owners (mom and pop store) retired.  |
Yeah, when I go to Long's, I usually stick to only certain things I know I'll like.
Had the XLB at Legend in Coquitlam and was pretty good too!
I wouldn't put Dinesty up there in the same league though.
