Its not just BMW though, it goes for quite a few brands nowadays. Cars aren't built to last anymore as people switch cars every few years. Manufactures figure they'd make more money by switching their customers every few years instead of building an honest and reliable machine.

This...since the early 2000s I've noticed that everything has become "disposable". It's always replace instead of repair.
