Same situation for me, The One on Kingsway. Kid was probably 4 or 5, whining and screaming because she wanted something and the parents wouldn't give it to her. Good on them for not giving it to her, but ignoring it wasn't any better.
I was just about done with them, after a long drive back from Portland with a 2 hr wait at the border, that was the last thing I needed.
I'm pretty sure about that age or even earlier, my parents would scold me if I ever whined in public. Either we stfu and behave, or we don't go out. Even my kid brother, when he was 3 or 4, they would walk all of us out of any establishment and scold us. If we were eating out, we would be scolded at the dinner table, then again when we're in the car.
I guess this is why certain groups of people (big 6) are whiny cunts when they've gotten older.
