Nordman is owned by Nokian. The Nordman WR's are literally the same as Nokian WRG2's. Basically you're looking at a $250 difference between last generation and the current generation's technology. The WRG3's should have better traction and responsiveness, but unless your FIL is all about catching the apex you're better off saving the money and going with the Nordman's.
