Heritage mountain in pomo and burke mt in coq are both great options to get some quality riding in...way less busy on the trails too compared to North Van if that's what you're after. And of course the communities are nice too for the previously mentioned demographic reasons
Heritage mountain has a number of detached house sized town houses, they were in the 800's last I checked.
