from what I know, yes 50/50 (usually in parking lot situations if BOTH were reversing from parking spots; or both changing into the same lane simultaneously)
If blame is greater than 25% for a given party, they have to pay their deductible and face a premium increase.
YES. However, if found only 25% liable, just responsible for 25% of deductible but no premium increase
If a cam proves that one party is 75%+ (or typically 100%) to blame, then ICBC would only be able to:
1) claim one deductible?
I don't really know what you mean by claim one deductible, but the at-fault party (100%) would be responsible for their own deductible while the other non-liable party does not have to pay their deductible.
2) raise the premium for one party?
YES, for the responsible party
Or am I incorrect in this assumption and ICBC would in fact hit the 75%+ blame party with both deducibles and premium increases?
if you are assessed +50% at fault, then your premiums increase. If you're +50% at fault AND you're repairing your OWN vehicle, you will be responsible for the deductible depending on your percentage of fault.
