Windsor plywood sells ULMDF it's half the weight of MDF but the same strength. You can glue 1 inch and .5 inch together. The pieces will move if you just lay them on top of each other when gluing. So mach sure you have a way of holding them down when gluing. They will also cut the wood for you.

That's something I don't have. Thus, I need someone who either carry the specific thickness and/or offer ways to glue them together. I don't mind doing some work on my own, but I simply don't have all the required tools except a table saw and some small tools for a home hobbyist.
I guess I'd start calling around. But if anyone knows anywhere to get this specific thing, let me know.
