Food in most restaurants should cost 1.5x what it costs, tipping shouldn't exist, and mid level workers should be paid appropriately as a result.
If the food sucks for the cost, then yeah, its overpriced, but if its good food at a good restaurant, thats just the cost of it. Deal with it, or learn to cook and eat at home. Hell, I'll even teach you the basics if you want, but thats not going to be free either.
