One of my friends works at Arcteryx, and I was a marketing advisor there. If you’re still wondering, the Firebee and Ceres are ridiculously overkill. I guess that depends on what you’re using it for. They actually have warnings not to wear them snowboarding or anything, because you will overheat. The Ceres is one of the warmest jackets on the market. They’re not meant for everyday wear. I wore it in the store for just a few minutes and I started sweating with only a t-shirt underneath.

The Fission is more all-around.

I just picked up a Thorium to add to my collection as well.
